I am writing to send a HUGE Shout Out of ... Thank You to Wayne Brown.

You see, we are grateful that we had any kind of coverage at all for this year's Newark Show!

Our faithful reporter (NOTUS John aka John Minion) had his car’s brakes spill its guts on the pavement that very morning and poor old 7Spot Jim (that’s me in Canada … at about 3:00am my time) was in a blind panic to find a “stand in” on no notice at all.

Off Air (and after our recording) Bizzle (Wayne Brown) had mentioned that he was going to Newark.

I sent a “Hale Mary” asking if he would consider hosting the show.

Needless to say, he was not prepared to do interviews for 7Spot (no microphones or headsets, didn’t know the manufacturers … and low battery level too)!

What a panic but Wayne Brown is a Hero!

NEWARK KIT CAR FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND 21ST AND 22ND SEPTEMBER.

Newark Showground, Lincoln Road, Nottinghamshire, NG24 2NY

The aim with Newark kit car show was to give the Industry a second show it deserves and to give the opportunity to all the clubs to have another location where they can all meet up with other like-minded kit car enthusiasts.

At the Newark Kit Car Festival you will find a great selection of the best Kit & Sports Car Manufacturers we have in the UK, Showcasing there perfectly designed cars for you to purchase as a Kit or as a Factory Built Car.

Ranging from 1950’s styled cars with modern engineering to fully tricked out exoskeleton track weapons with 666bhp per ton power to weight ratio.

The Festival is FREE to enter for Kit Car Drivers (passengers £10) and any other tickets can be bought at the gate.

Tiger Sportcars will be unveiling their new R10 at the show and MK Sportcars will be showcasing their new road and track demonstrator.

Chris Hollier and 7Spot will be there and it's a great opportunity to go and speak to him and also manufacturers if you are looking at building a kit car or already have one and are looking for some upgrades.

The outside Group stands will have a varied selection of Marques and CycleCarts will also be there showcasing up to 15 cars that you can build for as little as £2,000 and go racing including a world record holder !!!
